
Digital Marketing
One of the key revenue drivers for the ecommerce channel was product and promotion driven emails. In this role I was able to pitch content ideas, voice my opinion on promotions and content scheduling. I was also responsible for merchandising the landing pages of each email to correspond to the content and products to simplify the search for customers.
Buying
This role was also responsible for seasonal product buys, weekly replenishment, and the development of online exclusives. In regards to exclusive styles I was able to carry this process through from the beginning where I would analyze past sales data and use this to find any holes in the current seasonal offering. With this knowledge I would then pitch ideas for new styles, bringing back old best seller, or adding additional colors. Overall, I generated over $50,000 in revenue from exclusive styles - one style alone generated $11,000.
Data Analytics
Since this role was new to the company I was able to create many tools to increase visibility and provide more in depth data reports. In my time here I built and maintained weekly reports to highlight our top selling products, fabrications and product class. I also created a report to show how our emails were performing including revenue, click thru rate, open rate, conversion and average order value.
Product Launches and Visual Merchandising
A large part of this role is to manage execute monthly product launches. Here, I scheduled and maintained timelines for all aspects needed, uploaded product details to Shopify and shipping database, quality checked each product to ensure accuracy, and merchandised each page to highlight new product in an appealing and sensible manner for customers. Since my involvement in product launches I was able to increase productivity by ~60% and publish the largest batches of products for a single launch - 80 products in 2 days.
